As wetting agent at low concentrations, elasticizer for the higher dermal layers, contributes to keep the smoothness of hydrated skins. As a queratolic the exfoliation is due to the action of the alpha acids on the intercellular cement allowing the detachment of dead cells, and intensifying the appearance of lower layers of the skin and smoothing of wrinkles.
Products for dry and scaly skin. As queratolitic in higher concentratios.
